Australians announced that since gathering the very first data into one huge catalog of wildlife creatures and plants three years ago our database has expanded in about 6.8 per cent proving that the research is a valuable asset to humanity. Currently the statistics say that we have gathered data about 1.9 million different species living on Earth. So far this impressive collection of wild life allows us to better understand our planet and protect the best of it by trying to preserve the most valuable animals. Although Australians proved useful in gathering data it’s been said that total number of species is closer to 11 millions.
